This blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Sangiovese is super-reliable. Full of jammy fruit, notes of tobacco and licorice, and touch of spice. This wine brings me back again and again. Not surprisingly, Parker gave this little gem 89 Points. Also no shock, I give it a score of somewhere between yummy and delicious.
Crestline Piggly Wiggly Price - 12.99
Lush pear and apple on the nose and on the palate, this Vin de Pays d’Oc Chardonnay is a lovely example of what the grape should be. Consistently one of Robert Parker’s Best Value Wines (88 Points), I highly recommend it.
