The Wine of the Week UNDER $15 - Kermit Lynch Vin de Pays du Vaucluse

Kermit Lynch is one of my favorite importers. Always reliable, I will routinely buy wines based upon nothing but his name on the back.

This wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from the Vaucluse region of Provence. It channels the wonderful black cherry, plum, and peppery spice that I love from Rhone wines, but at a price that is perfect for a mid-week evening.

The Wine of the Week UNDER $15 - Vinum Cellars “It’s Okay” Rose

Don’t be skeptical! As this wine from Vinum Cellars so cleverly puts it, “It’s OKAY!”

This wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon based Rose with dark cherry flavors and a pleasant spiciness. Summer is officially here, and that makes it Rose season! Drink it by the pool, drink it at the beach, drink it on the porch, just drink it! You’ll LOVE it!

The Wine of the Week UNDER $15 - Protocolo

It’s Back! After weeks of waiting, importer Jorge Ordonez’s latest shipment has arrived in Birmingham, bringing with it the ever popular Protocolo wines!

This label (available in both Red and White) represents an incredible value, and is one of the reasons that people routinely look to Spain for inexpensive, quality table wines.
